What is Gayam?
Gayam Motor Works (GMW) is an electric car design, manufacturing, and sales company. Electric Auto Rickshaws and Electric Bicycles are among the company’s most innovative products. The main purpose behind the creation of EV solutions is to create a clean and sustainable society. GMW is a continuation of the 28-year contribution to the vehicle manufacturing business made by Gayam brothers’ forebears. GMW was founded in 2010 by the Gayam brothers, who took over their father’s bus body manufacturing business to pursue their ambition for electric vehicles. The company has a history of exporting vehicles to over 15 emerging markets.
The Need for Gayam
Every year, more than 5.5 million people die prematurely as a result of air pollution, with China and India accounting for more than half of these deaths, making them two of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Air pollution caused by gasoline car emissions has become a severe concern, prompting many people to wear masks when riding on the street.
For some, the transition from traditional gasoline-powered vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) has been a long process, while for others, it has been a thrilling jump. EVs have never been safer, sleeker, or more enjoyable to drive, thanks to rising innovation and environmental awareness.
EVs have cheaper fuel and maintenance expenses, as well as characteristics like instant torque, a silent ride, and superior performance. Consumers get social pride and duty as a result of helping to make the world a better, healthier place. EVs have attracted commuters’ attention for all of these reasons and more. In 2015, Gayam Motor Works (GMW) introduced India’s first electric three-wheeler, which was powered by a Li-Ion battery. Refueling time can be lowered from hours (of charge) to less than a minute using their proprietary battery swapping technique (by swapping).

Their “Limitless” Electric Bikes
One of the products that the company provides is LIMITLESS E-bikes. LIMITLESS e-bikes are bicycles with an electric motor, battery, and throttle. Their electric bikes can help you save money on petrol, save time on your commute, and arrive at your destination without breaking a sweat, whether you’re commuting to work or riding around the city.
These E-bikes have the following features:
1. Advanced system for battery management
The bike’s high-capacity modern lithium-ion battery saves energy and can be charged in 2.5 hours, giving it a range of 30-60 kilometers on a single charge.
2. Executive display unit
There are three levels of pedal-assistance, with one providing the least assistance and three providing the most. To select the desired level, use the up and down buttons. The Pedal Assist, Speedometer, Odometer, Time, and Battery Status are all displayed on the LCD unit.
3. Effortless riding throttle
When you begin pedaling, the motor kicks in and provides around 80% of the energy. Use the throttle beside the right handle if you don’t want to pedal. The bike will woosh you along, taking you from 0 to 25 kilometers per hour in 5 seconds.
